Delivering for South Texas
For over 30 years, I’ve had the privilege of serving our community through education.
When I first began serving on the South Texas College Board of Trustees in 1996, the college served fewer than 1,000 students. Today, it serves more than 30,000 students across the Rio Grande Valley, and being apart of that growth has been one of the greatest honors of my life.
I’ve spent my career working to open doors for students and families, from my time as a teacher and Superintendent of Hidalgo ISD to my service on the board. We’ve been able to expand campuses, strengthened workforce programs, and kept education affordable.
I believe in experience that delivers results, accountability in leadership, and making sure every student has a real opportunity to build a better future, and for the past 30 years I've done just that.
I’m running for reelection to the South Texas College Board of Trustees, District 5, and I would truly appreciate your support.
